Kata Noi Beach - Phuket
Kata Noi is a small, but stunning beach located at the southern end of Kata Beach. Around 700m long, the beach is surrounded by thick jungle. The white powdery sand and crystal clear waters make it one of Phuket’s most popular beaches. Waters are calm during low season (November – April) and perfect for surfing in low season (May – October).
This small but perfectly formed beach packs in activities to suit everyone. Banana boat rides, parasailing, kayaking, jet skiing and stand up paddle boarding when the water is calm. Snorkelling is amazing particularly at the rocky headlands that enclose the beach.
Low season brings large waves (up to 2m) and lots of surfers. Most people surf the northern headland. There is a beach break here too.
There are a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Some of the best sunset bars are located on the hillside behind the beach. A few local restaurants serve Thai and international cuisines at reasonable prices.
Most hotels are priced in the middle to upper range, though you can find cheaper guest houses away from the beach.
