Ton Te Waterfall - Trang
Originating in the Banthat Mountain range, Ton Te waterfall drops whopping 320 metres. Take the back roads to get there, through small traditional villages, luminous rice fields and rubber plantations.
Accessible by car all year round, Ton Te Waterfall is around 45 km from the city. The water tumbles down over a stunning rock face surrounded by thick rain forest.
For excellent views, walk the 1 km trail through up the hill to Ton Tok Waterfall. This waterfall is much calmer; water cascades over boulders to the basin below, overlooking feisty Ton Te.
You can take a tour to the waterfall, or ride/drive yourself. Maps are available at tourist centers in town.
