Koh Jum

Koh Jum's large beaches, super relaxed atmosphere and simple way of life attracts a low key crowd. Located halfway between Krabi Town and Koh Lanta, this is the island to visit if you prefer quiet, peaceful beaches and early nights. Most people get around by bicycle, motorbike or on foot. High season is from November to April, when the hotels are open and ferries are running.

Beaches and areas

An unsealed road joins the south of Koh Jum, with the mountainous north, known as Ko Pu. Wide, sandy beaches run nearly 10 kilometres along most of the island’s west coast. Enjoy clear water, silky sand and stunning sunset views over Koh Phi Phi.

Things to do

Most people wake up with the sun and go to sleep shortly after sunset. Spend days swimming, reading and laying on the beach. Evenings tend to focus on glorious sunsets and quiet nights. There are, however, a few activities to partake in should you feel the need.
