Ting Rai Beach - Koh Jum
Overlooked by a dramatic jungle-covered cliff, Ting Rai Beach makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a secret paradise.
Accessible by long-tail boat or via a back road, the small, crescent shaped beach is perfect if you’re looking for a little luxury. The beach is a mix of rock and sand, tree lined and shady. Like much of the west coast sunsets over the Andaman Sea are spectacular.
High-end resorts nestle into the cliff-face offering privacy, luxury, and jungle-surrounded beauty. A couple of hotels offer mid-priced traditional bungalows.
Follow the unsealed road behind the resorts if you want to explore the rest of the island. Most visitors, however, find it hard to leave.
