Wat Hat Yai Nai
What Hat Yai Nai is a peaceful sanctuary on the outskirts of Hat Yai located around 3 km from the city center.

This is the oldest temple in Hat Yai and it houses a long reclining Buddha of 35 meters, and it is claimed to be the third biggest in the world.
There is an underground room with historic pictures of the temple.
This temple is an active place of worship and at the heart of the Hat Yai Buddhist community. Please be respectful and dress modestly when visiting.

Phra Maha Chedi – King Bhumibol Temple
You have surely never seen a pagoda like this! Build entirely out of stainless steel tubing and perched on top of a mountain the Chedi is truly unique in its design and location.

Our advice: <If you visit just before sunset you get to see the temple in both natural light, watch the sunset over the mountains and after you get the to see the green glow of the lighting that illuminate the temple at night.
