Floating market
Although this is a floating market where you can buy local products and souvenirs, you should really go here to try out all the delicious street food that is available everywhere.
Typical for the Southern food in Hat Yai is the heavy influence from Chinese and Malay cuisine. There is a wide variety of Halal food available too.

Greenway Night Market
Every evening (except monday) hundreds of stalls set up to sell their wares under the roofs of Greenway Night Market. Clothes, accessories, handicrafts and antiques are all available in a wide selection.
Although this is a shopping paradise, a lot of people go here for the large and modern food court that offers over a 1000 dishes. You buy a prepaid card at the entrance and use this card to pay at the food stalls. If you have credit left after dinner, it can be refunded at the cashier.

Kim Yong Market
This maze-like market spans 2 floors in the city center and offers a close-up of daily life of Hat Yai citizens.
Here you can buy anything from fresh produce and dried fruits to fabrics, clothes and suitcases. Early morning is the best time to buy fresh produce, while other stalls set up a bit later.
