Hat Chang Lang Beach - Trang
Stretching a couple of kilometres south of Pak Meng Beach, Chang Lang Beach has stunning views over Koh Ngai and Koh Muk. There are few hotels, keeping the beach pristine and deserted.
Development is slow – most facilities cluster at either end of the beach, leaving vast secluded stretches in between. The beach runs in an L shape and has some of the best views over Trang’s neighbouring islands.
Sandy with good swimming and stunning surroundings, hire a kayak and follow the coast south to explore undeveloped Chao Mai Beach.
Five star Anantara have a sprawling hotel at the northern end of the beach. The southern end houses Hat Chao Mai National Park headquarters, offering cheap accommodation and camping. You can find accommodation to suit every budget. High-end hotel restaurants serve excellent quality international food, while local beach side places specialise in Thai cuisine.
