Emerald Cave - Tham Morakot - Koh Mook

Though it feels like you’ve stumbled onto a scene from ‘The Beach’, The Emerald Cave is a natural wonder, formed by a sinkhole. Once you pass through the short, pitch black tunnel (torches are provided) the cave opens up into a secret beach oasis surrounded by limestone cliffs.

Tour guides ensure visitors enter the cave at the right tide. The best time to go is early morning before most tourists arrive. There is an entrance fee as the Cave is part of the National Park. You can also Kayak there from Farang Beach.
