Hiking and biking - Koh Tarutao
Considered by many as a mountain biker’s paradise, jungle roads run deep through the mountainous terrain.
With the highest peak reaching around 713 metres, biking and hiking Koh Tarutao can be challenging. Expect steep hills and bring your own drinking water. A mountainous 20 kilometre road starts at the Visitor Centre park at Ao Phante and finishes at Ao Talo Wao on the east coast.
Another, slightly less mountainous road leads to Ao Son on the west coast where you can explore the old prison and hike to Luu Doo Waterfall.
You can get a map and hire bikes from the Visitor Centre or any of the main accommodation areas.
