Ao Molae - Koh Tarutao
Secluded and quiet, this large, crescent shaped beach features white sand, clear water and basic accommodation.
A handful of fan bungalows, a campsite and a canteen-style restaurant serving cold beer are the only man made distractions on this stunning beach. Come here to relax on the white sand, swim or kayak. Those with stamina can hire a mountain bike – Ao Pante Malacca is a hilly 4.5 km away.
Ao Son and Lu Du Waterfall are close by. You can share a pickup truck or cycle/walk the hilly five-kilometre road to get there.
Accommodation is limited to fan bungalows or camping, though some newer concrete bungalows have large glass windows facing the sea.
