Beach clubs - Phuket
Sophisticated compared to the Patong crowd, there several high quality beach clubs on the island to choose from. Most offer international DJ’s, good cocktails, great food and, of course, a stunning beach setting.
1. Café Del Mar
The famous Ibiza club turned global phenomenon does not disappoint. Set at the Northern end of beautiful Kamala beach, this is a stylish place to party. Laid back beats are played all day and into the evening, with the club open until 2am.
Not only is it a great club venue, they have a world-class restaurant on site as well. Swim up to the cocktail bar, lounge about on a sofa or one of the large beds on the sand, be amazed by the sunsets and dance under the stars at this magical venue.
2. HQ Beach Lounge
Oozing luxury, HQ Beach Lounge is one of the most up-market bars on the island. Located at the North end of Kamala beach, HQ attracts clientele from the surrounding five star villas.
You can lose yourself for hours here. Enjoy world-class cocktails, quality Asian/Western fusion food and laid-back beats that go on to the early hours.
3. Iguana Beach
Iguana Beach Day & Sunset Bar is a stylish and relaxed venue, located on a private, tranquil beach between Kalim and Kamala Beaches.
Away from the crowds of Patong, the 20m long beach overlooks the Andaman Sea and the tip of Patong Bay. Dramatic granite boulders and clear water add to the beauty of this spot. Unwind in a giant bean-bag, sip on cocktails and snack on delicious bar food after an afternoon of snorkelling and swimming.
As the sunset sky turns purple, the DJ turns up the beats for impeding party goers. Twice per month guest DJ’s keep you dancing until the early hours.

Diving
Phuket is a long established location for dive enthusiast and those who want to learn. There are a number of reputable diving schools and tour operators that cater to all levels and experience. Most diving takes place on the islands in Phuket province, a day trip from the main Island of Phuket. There are countless incredible places to choose from. We have listed 5 of our favourites.
Bangla Road (Patong)
Patong is the undisputed nightlife capital of the island. At night Bangla Road becomes a neon-lit party paradise. Beer bars, go-go bars, nightclubs, massage parlours, cabaret shows and literally hundreds of restaurants serving every cuisine imaginable line the street and side streets. For many tourists, this is their first and only stop when it comes to night-time entertainment.
Shows and cabaret
Thailand is famous for its ladyboys and the performances in Phuket are some of the best in Thailand. A great night out, the shows are glamorous and glitzy, the ladyboys fierce and the music an explosion of pop hits. Simon Cabaret and Aphrodite are the most popular family friendly venues. Soi Paradise and Soi Katoey hold some of the raunchier adult themed shows.
Surfing
The West Coast surfing season runs from around April to November and is starting to make a name for itself. Waves are maximum 3 metre which makes it a good place to learn. Surfing here isn’t limited to beginners though. A number of well-known surfers have been spotted in the area as it continues to grow in popularity.
